Town and Country Stoves Cheshire

why us whiteBelow is our review of Town and Country stoves for anyone in the Cheshire area that we operate in and around.

Town and Country were established in 1977 and came from a family of farmers known as the Thurlows. They are based in Pickering North Yorkshire and in our opinion make some of the best stoves around.

One of the big selling points is that their wood burning stoves are made from steel not cast iron. This means they are quicker to heat which is great if you need instant heat. Manufacturers that make stoves from steel will say it’s the better material, in our opinion cast iron is just as good as long as you buy quality. The main benefits of cast iron for reference is it will stay hotter for longer and the designs tend to be more pleasing on the eye. With Town and Country they have harnessed the benefits of steel but without sacrificing style or design.

Another key area is the quality of air control. We advise in our showroom that if you want controllability Town and Country have some of the best models in their range. The misconception is that once a stove is lit it will burn hot all night. With good air controls you can regulate the heat output of the stove.

In addition to the wood burning stove range they also make gas stoves. We sell many of these and they truly are quality products. We installed several in one day in High Legh, Mobberley, Alderley Edge, Hazel Grove and Lymm. Boasting some of the best efficiencies and over 5kw of heat they offer great value. We have sold these stoves for many years and can honestly say we’ve had no problems at all.
